Luis Adriano Piedrahíta Sandoval (born October 7, 1946 in Palmira ) is a Colombian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santa Marta .

Life

Luis Adriano Piedrahíta Sandoval was ordained a priest on October 29, 1972 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Centenaria and auxiliary bishop in Cali on July 19, 1999 . He was ordained episcopal on September 8th of the same year by the Archbishop of Cali, Isaías Duarte Cancino ; Co- consecrators were Edgar de Jesús García Gil , auxiliary bishop in Cali, and Héctor Luis Gutiérrez Pabón , bishop of Chiquinquirá .

On July 3, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Apartadó .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Santa Marta on August 5, 2014 .
