The Diocese of Chiquinquirá ( lat. : Dioecesis Chiquinquirensis , span. : Diócesis de Chiquinquirá ) is an in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Chiquinquirá .
history
The diocese Chiquinquirá was on April 26, 1977 by Pope Paul VI. Erected with the papal bull Qui Divino Consilio from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Tunja and subordinated to this as a suffragan .
