Luis Mena Arroyo (born April 27, 1920 in Churintzio , Michoacán , Mexico ; † March 3, 2009 in Zamora ) was a Mexican clergyman, archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church and auxiliary bishop in Mexico City .

Life

Luis Mena Arroyo was ordained a priest in Rome on April 8, 1944 by Luigi Traglia . In 1961 Pope John XXIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Danaba and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Mexico until 1964. He received his episcopal consecration on September 21, 1961 Antonio Guízar y Valencia , Archbishop of Chihuahua; Co- consecrators were Luis Guízar y Barragán , Bishop of Saltillo, and Manuel Talamás Camandari , Bishop of Ciudad Juárez. 1964 he was by Paul VI. Appointed Titular Archbishop of Sinitis and Coadjutor Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Chihuahua .
