Luise Müller

Luise Müller (born August 21, 1952 in Weißenstadt ) is an Austrian Evangelical Lutheran theologian and former superintendent.

Life

Luise Müller studied Protestant theology at the Augustana University in Neuendettelsau , the University of Erlangen and the University of Vienna . In 1974 she married and had three children. Müller completed her vicariate in the Christ Church in Innsbruck . In 1979 she was ordained to the ministry by Superintendent Emil Sturm . From 1981 she was pastor at the Johanneskirche in Kufstein .

Luise Müller became Superintendent of the Evangelical Superintendent of A. B. Salzburg and Tyrol on September 1, 1995 as successor to Wolfgang Schmidt . She was also a member of the board of trustees of the Diakoniewerk Gallneukirchen and from 2001 chairwoman of the Diaconal Committee of the General Synod of the Evangelical Church A. u. H. B. in Austria . She retired in 2012; Olivier Dantine was her successor .
