Luka Mikulić (born November 13, 1993 in Zagreb ) is a Croatian ice hockey player who has been under contract with KHL Medveščak Zagreb since 2009 and currently plays with the club's second team in the International Hockey League .

Career

Luka Mikulić began his career as an ice hockey player at KHL Medveščak Zagreb , in whose second team he played in the Croatian ice hockey league from 2009 and was Croatian champion every season from 2009 to 2014. In the 2012/13 season he was also used in the first team in the Austrian Ice Hockey League (EBEL). Between 2015 and 2017 he played with Medveščak in the Slovenian ice hockey league , which was transferred to the International Hockey League for the 2017/18 season . During the 2018/19 season he also played a few games for the club in the EBEL.

International

For Croatia Mikulič took at junior level at the U18 World Championships in 2009 , 2010 when he was named the best player of his team, and in 2011 in the Division II and the I-tournaments Division of the Under-20 Junior World Championships in 2011 , 2012 and 2013 in part .

He made his debut in the Croatian men's national team at the World Championships in Division II in 2013 , when he and his team were promoted to Division I by winning their home tournament in Zagreb. There he played at the World Championships in 2016 and 2017 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang .
