Lukas Denner (born June 19, 1991 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Denner began his career with the Vienna club ASV 13, which he left in 2005 for FK Austria Wien . After a year with the Veilchen , he moved to city rivals SK Rapid Vienna and stayed in their youth department until 2010.

In 2010 he was then brought into the second team of the green-whites. He made his debut for the amateurs on April 2, 2010 against SV Horn when he played through. The home game was lost 0-1. After two more seasons with the amateurs, Denner made his debut in the Bundesliga team under coach Zoran Barišić .

On the last day of the 2012/13 season in the game against SV Ried , which took place on May 26, 2013, Denner came on in the 89th minute for Markus Katzer . After he was unable to establish himself in the team in the following season, he was awarded to SC Wiener Neustadt during the winter break of 2014. There he fought for a regular place in the left position in the defense and was finally committed by the Lower Austrians in the summer of 2014. Denner received a contract until the end of the 2014/15 season with the option for another year.

In the summer of 2015, after the relegation of the Lower Austrians, he moved to SV Grödig .

After Grödig retired from professional football, he moved to the second division SV Horn in the summer of 2016 .

After relegation from the second division, he left Horn in the summer of 2017.

During the winter break of the 2017/18 season Denner returned to SC Wiener Neustadt, where he was initially to be used for the fifth-rate amateurs. In April 2018, he was finally back in the professional squad of Wiener Neustädter for the first time against FC Blau-Weiß Linz . In May 2018 he came back for the first time for the professionals against Floridsdorfer AC .

For the 2018/19 season he returned to SV Horn. He left Horn after the 2018/19 season. After six months without a club, he moved to the fourth-class ASK Kottingbrunn in February 2020 .
