Lukas Nattmann

Lukas Nattmann (born February 28, 1992 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German swimming athlete . The chemistry student from Wuppertal , who is starting for the SG Bayer Wuppertal / Uerdingen / Dormagen , won his first German championship title at the German short course championships in 2012 .

Life

In his youth, Nattmann achieved various bests in his class, including first places in the German class championship in 2008 over 100 m back and 2010 over 200 m butterfly . At the German Swimming Championships 2011 there was a ninth place over 50 m back. The winner of the B final was also the best of the year.

Nattmann reached the high point of his swimming career so far in the 50 m back final on November 23, 2012: At the short course championships in the Wuppertal Swimming Opera he was ex aequo with his colleagues Stefan Herbst from SSG Leipzig and Jan-Philip Glania from SG Frankfurt in a time of 24.56 s. German champions.

In addition, he was in 55.49 s. Third over 100m principles behind Dimitri Colupaev (DSV, 54.42) and Marco di Carli (SG Frankfurt, 54.47).

Lukas Nattmann is a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He completed his master’s degree at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster.
