Lukas Pachner (born December 5, 1991 ) is an Austrian snowboarder . He starts in the snowboard cross discipline.

Career

From 2012 to 2016, Pachner mainly participated in the European Cup. He scored three victories and finished second in the 2014/15 season and third in the 2015/16 season in the overall snowboard cross ranking. He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in March 2015 in Veysonnaz , which he finished in 53rd place. After placing 39 at the World Cup in Montafon at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, he achieved his first top ten placement in the World Cup with sixth place in Solitude . The following day, he and Julian Lüftner came second in the team competition. In March 2017 he took second place in La Molina and reached 14th place in the Snowboard Cross World Cup at the end of the season. At the season highlight of the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , he came in 36th place in the individual competition and together with Julian Lüftner in sixth place in the team competition. At the Winter Olympics in 2018 in Pyeongchang he won the 39th place and at the Snowboard World Championships 2019 in Park City to 26th place.
