Lukas Sieber (born February 20, 1994 in Widnau , Switzerland ) is a Swiss ice hockey striker who has been playing in the Swiss 1st division at EHC Chur since 2016 .

Career

Sieber began his career at SC Rheintal and in 2008 moved to the junior division of HC Davos , where he went through all levels.

In the 2011/12 season Sieber should play his first season with the Elite A Juniors. After just one game, he was called up to the first team, where he made his National League A debut on September 10, 2011 at the age of 17 . Sieber convinced so that he became a regular player. He scored his first NLA goal on October 29 in the game against the ZSC Lions . As a young player, he was often used in the fourth line and scored a total of six points scorer . Lukas Sieber also took part in the 85th Spengler Cup 2011, where he was used in three games.

At the beginning of the 2012/13 season Sieber was initially part of the first team, but was transferred to the juniors after two games, as 19-year-old Enzo Corvi was preferred to him. When the club struggled with injury concerns, Sieber was brought back to the first team.

During the 2014/15 season Sieber was loaned to the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and returned to HC Davos for the following season. In the following season he was temporarily loaned to EV Zug .

Sieber has been playing in the first division at EHC Chur since 2016 .
