geography
The lake is located approx. 2 km northwest of the center of Mittenwald in the Wettersteingebirge , below the Hoher Kranzberg and is at an altitude of 1021 meters above sea level . It has a maximum depth of 4 meters. The surface has the regular dimensions 180 by 140 meters.
