Lutz Korndörfer

Lutz Korndörfer (born July 17, 1965 in Mainz ) is a German musician , composer , lyricist and music producer .

Life

Lutz Korndörfer received classical piano lessons from 1972. In his youth he was also active in athletics. In 1981 and 1982 he was the Rheinhessen national champion in the high jump. In 1981 he started playing keyboard in various rock bands, including the Frankfurt AOR band "Heat". At this time he also began composing and writing.

In 2001 he was co-composer of the Sat1 image song “Powered by Emotion” for Orange Blue , which won the Eyes & Ears Award for best campaign music in 2001 and appeared on the single The sun on your face . Other compositions followed, including for Sat1, Pro7, ZDF, SWR, Deutsche Welle and Columbia Tristar.

In 2006 he produced and composed for the singer Roxi, whose single "Schöner is ohne" achieved chart performance and Viva rotation. Collaborations with Rosenstolz , Ralf Strathmann and Ronald Prent ( Rammstein ) followed. The second single “Pure Poesie” was also composed and written by him.

His song "Weißt du Was Liebe ist" was sung by Aleen - the theme music of the television series Eine wie keine and in December 2009 also entered the German single charts.

2010–2012 he produced the all-girl rock band Ballerinas.

On October 16, 2019, his novel “Goulash Puzzle” was published by Dittrich-Verlag.
