Lycium Argentino cestroides is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium argentino-cestroides is a shrub that can grow to a height of 1.5 m . Its leaves are hairless, 9 to 53 mm long and 4 to 23 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic and usually five-fold, rarely six-fold. The calyx is tubular-bell-shaped and hairy. Its calyx tube is 2.5 to 3 mm long and covered with 1 to 2.5 cm long calyx lobes. The crown is funnel-shaped and purple in color, the veins are dark purple in color. The corolla tube reaches a length of 8.5 to 11 mm, the corolla lobes are 3 to 4.5 mm long. The stamens are hairy at the base.
The fruit is an egg-shaped berry that becomes about 5 mm long and 3.5 mm wide. Three to five seeds are formed per ovary compartment .
Occurrence
The species is widespread in South America and occurs there in Argentina in the province of Córdoba .
