Lynn Knippenborg (born January 7, 1992 in Winterswijk ) is a Dutch handball player .

Career

At the age of 16, Lynn Knippenborg moved from Zieuwent to SV Dalfsen , with whom she was three times Dutch champion and three times the Supercup and twice the Dutch Cup. With Dalfsen she took part in the EHF Challenge Cup , the European Cup Winners' Cup and the EHF Champions League . In the summer of 2014, the 1.75-meter tall back player moved to the Norwegian first division club Vipers Kristiansand . From summer 2016 she was under contract with the German Bundesliga club Buxtehuder SV . With the BSV she won the DHB Cup in 2017 . In the 2018/19 season she was under contract with the Danish first division team Tvis Holstebro . She then moved to the German first division club Neckarsulmer Sport-Union .

Knippenborg is a member of the Dutch national team , with which she took part in the 2013 World Cup in Serbia and the 2014 European Championship in Croatia and Hungary . Knippenborg won the silver medal at the 2016 European Championships as well as the bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships and the 2018 European Championships .
