The Mäggisserenhorn ( [mɛkɪsərənˌhɔrn] ; Bernese Oberland and Mäggisserehore [mækisːərəˌhɔːrə] ) is a 2348 m high mountain peaks between the Tschipparällenhorn and the Hohniesen in the running from N to S sneezing chain . The Mäggisserenhorn is located west of Frutigen in the Bernese Oberland .
From the summit, the wide, evenly sloping ridge of the Mäggisserenegg runs eastwards into the valley. It is a well-known launch site for paragliding flights. The Ochsen ( 2272 m ) is a small elevation on the north-west ridge of the Mäggisserenhorn.
Marked mountain trails lead both from Frutigen via Mäggisserenegg and from Diemtigtal (Horboden) via Springenboden to the summit. Both routes are often used as ski tours in winter.
