occupation

Märchen vom Glück is an Austrian revue and equipment film from 1949 by Arthur de Glahs with OW Fischer , Maria Holst , Gretl Schörg and Miss Austria 1949, the film debutante Nadja Tiller , in the leading roles.

action

The story takes place in the fantasy and operetta state of Utopistan. The very wealthy but rather shy police officer Fernando, deputy prefect of the police, has fallen in love with the lovely Danielle, but she really wants to be "conquered" by a daredevil man. Fernando then changes his image and disguises himself as a mysterious charmer and Casanova, to whom women's hearts fly to. He “kidnaps” three of the women who turn on him to a palace for the purpose of having a night of love together and then dismisses them, richer by a diamond necklace.

Danielle also tries to conquer Fernando in this way, but she remains steadfast after her "kidnapping" and unmoved explains to the unknown beau that she has given her heart to another man for some time. It's Fernando, and he unmasked to his queen of hearts and explains to her that he only staged the entire "Casanova" farce to please her, Danielle. Now nothing stands in the way of shared happiness.
