The Mühlenhof open-air museum in Münster covers five hectares in the Sentrup district in the immediate vicinity of the Aasee , the all-weather zoo and the LWL-Museum für Naturkunde, showing rural and artisanal culture in the region from four centuries. About 30 historical buildings were moved from their original location to the museum in Münster in Westphalia or reconstructed there based on old models. The interior furnishings with historical collection give an impression of the lifestyle and working methods of the people who were once at home here.
