Mühlenstrasse 23 (Quedlinburg)
The house at Mühlenstrasse 23 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located southwest of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg on the south side of Mühlenstraße . The house is registered in the Quedlinburg Monument Register and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . To the east, the house , which is also listed, is adjacent to Mühlenstraße 22 .
Architecture and history
The small, two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1680. The half-timbered facade of the house has decorations that are typical of the construction period. There are pyramid beam heads on both the stick and the roof threshold . In the area of the framework on the parapet of the upper floor, St. Andrew's crosses are incorporated. The front door is in the baroque style and has a skylight . The window frames date from around 1840.
