Mülayim Erdem (born January 10, 1987 in İstanbul ) is a Turkish football player . Mülayim Erdem is the nephew of the former Galatasaray player Arif Erdem .

Career

society

Erdem came in İstanbul district of Zeytinburnu in the world. With the club soccer he started in 2000 in the youth of the traditional Istanbul clubs Galatasaray . Since his uncle Arif Erdem was one of the most important players in Galatasaray at that time, he decided to join this club. In 2003 he received a professional contract here, but continued to play for the youth and reserve team. At the start of the 2003/04 season he was accepted into the professional squad and played a first division game. For the next two seasons he played exclusively for the reserve team, but also took part in professional training and was also eligible to play in the professional leagues.

In order to enable him match practice in a professional league, he was loaned to the second division Istanbul Büyüksehir Belediyespor for the 2006/07 season. The decisive factor in this change was the fact that the trainer Istanbul BB, Abdullah Avcı , previously worked in the youth department of Galatasaray and trained here among other things. In the second division, the midfielder gained playing experience and made it to the Süper Lig with the team . For the new season Erdem was loaned again, this time to the second division Orduspor . In 2008/09, the third loan period followed and Erdem got into the squad of Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor .

In the summer of 2009, the midfielder left Galatasaray for good and signed with the lower class club Yalovaspor . After he worked for Yalovaspor two seasons, he moved within the league to Kızılcahamamspor .

National team

Erdem went through all of Turkey's youth national teams from the Turkish U-16 to the U-20 . With the Turkish U-17 national team , he took part in the U-17 European Football Championship in 2004 , but retired with his team in the preliminary round.
