Origin and history

The von der Mülbe family comes from the former Prussian province of West Prussia . It is of a tribe and coat of arms with the expired Konopat and the Heselecht and appears for the first time in a document on March 5, 1285 with Peter von Heselecht . The line of strains begins in 1376 with Nicolaus von der Mitbe, inherited from Mylwe near Neuchâtel in West Prussia. The family later came to Mecklenburg , where they became entail lords on Boddin . Non-wealthy members of the sex mostly served in the Prussian army , where they held general ranks several times .
