Christoph Ludwig von der Mülbe (* 1709 ; † May 13, 1780 in Patschkau ) was a Prussian major general and knight of the order Pour le Mérite .

Life

origin

Christoph Ludwig came from the old Prussian family von der Mülbe . His father was the heir to Mickelnick Adam Gottfried von der Mülbe († 1716).

Military career

Mülbe joined in 1725 as a corporal corporal in the regiment "Flanß walk" the Prussian army one. In 1730 he became ensign , 1733 second lieutenant , 1740 premier lieutenant , 1746 captain and company commander and in April 1754 major . In December 1758 he became lieutenant colonel and on December 12, 1761 colonel . At the same time he received the "von Blankensee" garrison regiment as chief . In September 1776 he became major general.

During his active time, Mülbe took part in eight battles and three sieges during the Silesian Wars and the Seven Years' War .

family

He married Luise Eleonora von Unfried (1713–1785), a daughter of the Unfried War Council. The following children were born from the marriage:
