Müssighof is a district of the Absberg market in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district , Middle Franconia .
The place is located in the Franconian Lake District at the foot of the Absberger Hill, directly on the western bank of the Kleiner Brombach . The Röthenhofer Bach coming from the neighboring Röthenhof flows south into the Brombachsee.
The first documentary mention by the Lords of Lentersheim comes from 1509. Later it was used as a sheep farm. Since 1930 the farm has been part of a regional center of the Regens-Wagner Foundations , which is dedicated to the care of the disabled. There is also a chapel, a farm shop with natural products and a farm museum.
