Măgureni is located in the west of Prahova County, on the border with Dâmbovița County , 29 kilometers from the district capital Ploieşti and 12 kilometers from Câmpina , the second largest city in Prahova County. Măgureni is located on the DJ145 County Road ( Drum Județean ).
