Marc Kinchen (born August 3, 1974 in Detroit , Michigan ), better known as MK , is an American DJ and music producer of the genres house and deep house .

Career

Marc Kinchen began producing music in 2001 after moving to Los Angeles . In 2002 he worked as a music producer for the actor and singer Will Smith . He then worked with artists such as Jaden Smith and Pitbull .

MK achieved international fame through the British DJ Route 94 , who released a remix of his song "Always".

Mark Kinchen currently owns his own label called Area 10 , together with Mark Davenport & Marci Weber.
