Ma Wanfu
Ma Wanfu ( 马万福 , Mǎ WanFu * 1849 , † 1934 ) was a Dongxiang - Imam from the village of Guoyuan (果园村) in Hezhou (present-day Autonomous County of Dongxiang in the Autonomous County Linxia Hui , province of Gansu ). He studied in Mecca and in 1888 founded the Ikhwan (Yihewani,) movement, which is also known as the "New Sect" (Chinese Xinjiao pai新 教派 or Xinxinjiao新 und), and spread through Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai . She rejects Sufism .
