She first started on the long track in speed skating , but switched to the short track in 2006, where she was finally accepted into the national team. In the 2006/07 season she won her first national title. Vos made his debut in the World Cup in Heerenveen in February 2007 and reached the quarter-finals as the best result over 500 m. At her first international championship, the European Championship in Sheffield , she won the bronze medal in the relay. She also took part in the World Championship in Milan , but could not survive the heats in three individual races. In the 2007/08 season , Vos competed in four World Cups and was able to reach the quarter-finals twice over 500 m. Her best result at the European Championships in Ventspils was reaching the semi-finals over 1500 m. In the following season 2008/09 Vos could not improve in the World Cup. Her best result at the European Championships in Turin was once again reaching the semi-finals over 1500 m. With the relay she won the bronze medal. With her teammates she also took part in the team world championship in Heerenveen and came in sixth. In the 2009/10 Olympic season , Vos took part in two World Cups. She couldn't convince in individual races, but in the relay Vos set a Dutch relay record with Liesbeth Mau Asam , Sanne van Kerkhof , Jorien ter Mors and Annita van Doorn in 4: 13.135 minutes and qualified for the Olympic Games in Vancouver . There the relay won the B final and placed fourth in the final ranking. Vos won her last medal at the European Championships in Dresden . With the relay she won her third bronze medal there.
After the Olympics, Vos ended her active career. She now works as a sports and nutrition consultant after completing a degree in the field.
