Annita van Doorn (born April 26, 1983 in Utrecht ) is a Dutch short tracker .

In the 2003/04 season , van Doorn made his debut in the World Cup and took part in an international championship for the first time. At the team world championship in Sofia she finished eighth with her teammates. She celebrated her first successes in the 2004/05 season . In Saguenay she won a world cup race over 3000 m and was the first Dutch woman to win the world cup . In 2006/07 van Doorn finally won her first international championship medal. At the 2007 European Championships in Sheffield she won bronze in the relay and was sixth in the all-around competition. Her best World Cup result of the season was a tenth place over 1500 m. A year later she won the 500 m individual race at the European Championships in Ventspils in 2008 and improved to fifth in the all-around competition. In the World Cup she achieved sixth places in the 500 m and 1500 m respectively. The 2008/09 season was also successful for van Doorn. Over 500 m she reached eighth place as the best World Cup result and fifth over 1000 m, with the relay she once made it into the finals and came fourth. At the team world championships in Heerenveen her team finished sixth and at the European championships in Turin she won the relay bronze medal again. In addition, she won a national title for the first time. In the World Cup she could not take any front ranks in the following 2009/10 season . Van Doorn was able to repeat the bronze medal at the European Championships in Dresden . She qualified for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver , where she finished fourth in the relay and reached the quarter-finals over 1000 m and was eleventh. The 2010/11 season was her most successful to date. In the World Cup, she placed in the top 10 five times and took a podium finish with the relay in Changchun . At the European Championships in Heerenveen, she won the gold medal in front of a home audience with the relay. The relay was finally able to convince at the World Championships in Sheffield and win silver, in the all- around competition van Doorn finished 16th. At the European Championships in 2012 in Mladá Boleslav she was able to defend the title with the relay.

In November 2009 Annita van Doorn was part of the Dutch relay team with Liesbeth Mau Asam , Maaike Vos , Sanne van Kerkhof and Jorien ter Mors , which set a Dutch record in Marquette in 4: 13.135 minutes. In addition, she currently holds the national record that she set at the 2010 Olympics over 1000 m in 1: 31.516 min.
