Machinemade God was a German metalcore band from Essen .

history

In 2003 the band was founded by singer Florian Velten, guitarists Holger Kiparski and Sky van Hoff , bassist Sven Luppus and drummer Max Kotzmann. Machinemade God played concerts with Caliban , God Forbid and As I Lay Dying .

Their first demo was recorded in 2004. It contains four songs and was recorded by myself.

In April 2005, the band set off for Denmark to record their debut album The Infinity Complex . The album was produced by former Hatesphere singer Jacob Bredahl. The mastering took over Ziggy in his ZigZound Studio . In June 2005 the band played at the Pressure Festival as the first band without a record deal.

In early 2006, the record label Metal Blade Records signed them and in February of that year The Infinity Complex was released. In the summer the band went on a four-week European tour with Evergreen Terrace .

In 2007 Machinemade God toured as headliners by Germany . Then they began to record their second studio album Masked . The new album was produced by guitarist Sky van Hoff himself. The instrumental tracks were recorded in the Smart'n'Hard studio in Aarhus , Denmark, the vocals in the Be! in Cologne . On August 24th, the album was released under Metal Blade Records.

On August 29, 2008, the band announced on their MySpace page that founding member and singer Florian Velten is leaving the band. In the same year the band was disbanded.
