The Machland Musikanten were a wind orchestra from 1993 to 2003 under the direction of Friedrich Heigl from the Upper Austrian town of Perg , which released three recordings, was featured in radio and television programs and was able to refer to national and international successes in wind music competitions.

The brass music orchestra Machland Musikanten was founded in 1993 by Friedrich Heigl and belonged to the Austrian brass music association. Most of the musicians came from the Perg district and were military musicians and / or music teachers .

In addition to participating in European championships, appearances with Freek Mestrini and Adam Hudec and Ladislav Kubeš were among the orchestra's most successful concert events . The gala concerts were moderated by Franz Gumpenberger and Klaus Huber ( Radio Upper Austria ). On November 15, 2003, the Machland Musikanten's last gala concert took place in Perg . The concert was conducted by Freek Mestrini and Adam Hudec.
