Tristan Paul Mack Wilds (born July 15, 1989 on Staten Island , New York City ) is an American actor . He gained notoriety through roles in the television series The Wire and 90210 .

Life

Tristan Wilds was born on Staten Island in 1989 to Paul Wilds and Monique Moncion. His father is African American and his mother has Irish and Dominican ancestry. He attended the Michael J. Petrides School . He also has an older brother.

His career began in 2005 with a few appearances in Miracle's Boys . From 2006 to 2008 he starred in 23 episodes of The Wire . He then made guest appearances in Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten and Law & Order . From 2008 to 2013 he played the lead role of Dixon Wilson in 90210 .

Tristan Wilds also makes music. So he produced some soundtracks for 90210. In 2015 he also embodied her lover in the music video for Adele's song "Hello". It was directed by Xavier Dolan . The video has been viewed more than 2 billion times on YouTube .
