Madrie Le Roux (born April 19, 1995 in Uitenhage ) is a South African tennis player .

Career

Le Roux started playing tennis at the age of six and prefers hard courts. She mainly plays on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , where she has won seven doubles titles so far.

In 2011 she received a wild card for the main draw of the Soweto Open , an ITF tournament endowed with 100,000 US dollars , but already lost her first game against Oksana Kalashnikova 2: 6 and 1: 6.

At the US Open 2012 she competed in both junior singles and with Rasheeda McAdoo in junior doubles , but was eliminated in both competitions in the first round.

At the Australian Open 2013 , she competed both in singles and with Ilze Hattingh in doubles, where she was eliminated in both competitions in the first round.

In 2011 , Le Roux made her debut in the South African Fed Cup team , where she was also used from 2012 to 2019 and recorded 16 wins in 26 games, three of them in singles and 13 in doubles.

Le Roux has not been in the world rankings since November 2017, she only played two tournaments in her home country South Africa from November 2017 in 2018.
