Magdalena Jadwiga Boczarska (born December 12, 1978 in Krakow ) is a Polish actress .

Life

Magdalena Boczarska received her acting training at the Stanisław Wyspiański State Theater Academy in Krakow ( Polish Akademia Sztuk Teatralnych im. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego w Krakowie (AST) ). She completed her studies in 2001. As a theater actress, she has so far played at Teatr Nowy in Łódź , Teatr Narodowy, Studio-Theater and Teatr Buffo in Warsaw . Since 2001 she has played regularly in Polish television series. She made her cinema debut in 2006. She celebrated her greatest success with the title role in the film Różyczka , for which she was awarded the Actor Award at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia in 2010 .

She faced the German audience in Cologne's “Tatort”, “Section 40”, “Maja Berger”, “Your Mission, Father Castel”, “Flemming”, “Inspector Lucas”. In 2015 she played alongside Katrin Sass in the third episode of the Usedom crime thriller " Engelmacher " and in " Wellness for Couples " (directed by Jan Georg Schütte), where she acted as Devid Striesow's wife. In 2017 the ensemble was awarded the German Actor Prize. 2017 started in the cinema "Unter Deutsche Betten" based on the bestseller by Justyna Polanski. Magdalena plays the leading role alongside Veronika Ferres and Heiner Lauterbach.
