Under German beds is a German film comedy by Jan Fehse from 2017 . Lucy Astner's script is based on the novel Justyna Polanska - Under German beds by Holger Schlageter .

The pop singer Linda Lehmann dreams of a career as a star, which her producer Friedrich should help her. But this is only after the young Bibi and leaves Linda. After a single hit, Linda goes down again as a one-hit wonder . In order to stay afloat, Linda takes a job as a cleaning lady, which up to now was not one of her skills.

The film was produced by Veronica Ferres ' and Nina Maag's production company Construction Filmproduktion together with Fox International Productions (Germany) and had a budget of 4.5 million euros.
The shooting took place from July 28th to September 9th, 2016 in Munich and the surrounding area. The film was shot in the Deutsches Theater and in the GOP Varieté Theater , among others . In Dachau , shooting took place in the former MD paper factory .
The film premiered on September 12, 2017 in the Mathäser-Filmpalast in Munich and was released in cinemas across Germany on October 5.
