Thelma Buabeng

Thelma Buabeng (born March 31, 1981 in Ghana ) is a German actress .

Life

Thelma Buabeng grew up with two siblings in Meckenheim (Rhineland) , where her family moved from Ghana in 1984. She passed her A -levels at the St. Joseph High School in Rheinbach ; she then first studied media marketing at the West German Academy for Communication in Cologne. She began her acting career in 1996 in the theater group “Junge Bühne Brotfabrik ” in Bonn. After she attended drama school in Cologne's “Theater der Keller” for two years, she moved to Berlin in 2005, where she completed her acting training at the Berlin Film Acting School in 2009 . In 2003 she made her television debut in the ARD series Lindenstrasse . Thereafter, Thelma Buabeng appeared in Der Kriminalist (TV), The Adventures of Huck Finn (cinema) and several times in Tatort .

After further film and television work, including in the ZDF multi-part series Das Adlon. A family saga (TV), best friends , death to the hippies !! Long live punk (cinema) and Heil (cinema), Thelma Buabeng started her own comedy project Tell Me Nothing From The Horse (formerly 3 Sistas since 2009) in addition to her acting career .

She can also be seen on various theater stages, such as 2014 in Die Schutzbefohlenen at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg or 2016 in Meteoriten at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and 2017 in Faust , Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz , and Frank Castorf's Les Miserables at the Berliner Ensemble .
