Municipality of Schwierzina

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The magistrate Schwierzina formed of 30 May 1990 to 24 January 1991, the top administration / state government of East Berlin . It was the first - as a result of the change  - freely elected magistrate. He was led by Tino Schwierzina as Lord Mayor .

After reunification on October 3, 1990, the Municipality of Schwierzina and the Senate of Momper held office together until January 24, 1991 (jokingly: "Magi-Senate"). After the first House of Representatives elected in the entire city area had been constituted on January 11, and Schwierzina elected Vice President at the same meeting, Thomas Krüger temporarily led the magistrate until the election of the first all- Berlin Senate on January 24, 1991.
