Christian Zippel

Christian Zippel (born October 7, 1942 in Nattkischken , Tilsit-Ragnit district ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Biographical

Zippel graduated from high school in Gotha in 1961 and studied human medicine at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1962 to 1968 . In 1970 he received his doctorate and worked as a doctor at the Berlin-Buch Clinic , where he was chief physician from 1982 . 1984 habilitation Zippel itself.

In 1970 Zippel joined the CDU (East) . 1976/77 he performed for six months as a sergeant reservist service in a Med-point of the military unit Beckmann of the National People's Army and was added at the Military Medical Section of the Greifswald Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University prepared. As chief physician of the 2nd Geriatric Clinic in the Berlin-Buch Clinic , he was responsible for the medical care of young people from Nicaragua , Mozambique , the SWAPO and the ANC . In 1989 he was an international observer of the Evangelical Church and the World Council of Churches for six weeks in the context of the independence movement in Namibia ( Resolution 435 of the UN Security Council ). After the reunification in the GDR , Zippel was elected as a city councilor for health in the municipality Schwierzina in May 1990 . With the first overall Berlin election in December 1990 he was nominated for the Pankow district in the Berlin House of Representatives voted. He was a member of parliament until 1999.

After the suspicion arose in October 1991 that Zippel had worked as an informal employee of the MfS , which Zippel rejected, he was exonerated on June 30, 1992 by the Honorary Council of the House of Representatives of the Stasi suspicion.
