Magnus Walker

Magnus Walker (* 1967 in Sheffield ) is a British fashion designer .

Life

Walker grew up in South Yorkshire and attended Camp America at the American Institute For Foreign Study as an adolescent . On the weekends he moved from Detroit to Los Angeles . He emigrated to the United States in 1986 , where he founded the fashion label Serious Clothing Brand . His fashion was particularly popular with celebrities like Madonna and Alice Cooper . In the late 1990s, Walker acquired a warehouse in LA, which he expanded into a film and television studio, where stars like Bruce Willis , Victoria Beckham , Prince and Jay-Z went in and out.

Walker first gained public fame in 2012 through the short film Urban Outlaw by Tamir Moscovici , which dealt with Walker's passion for the Porsche brand . As a result, he made television appearances, was seen in documentaries and played himself in the computer game Need for Speed . On his 50th birthday, he published his autobiography ; this also attracted attention in the German feature pages , with reviews in Der Spiegel , Die Welt , Focus and Stern, among others .
