main characters

Magnus
The magician, dressed like Merlin in a starry robe and pointed hat, is a court magician in the Kingdom of Id. His main task, which cannot be resolved, is to mix a magic potion for his king , which helps the regent to grow taller. The sarcastic has a veritable arsenal of ghosts and powerful spells , which all too often turn against himself.
king
The stingy, vicious monarch is the actual main character of the series. Because of his dwarfish, stocky stature , he suffers from a massive inferiority complex , and he responds to any open or hidden allusion to this physical deficit with excessive cruelty. The cynical arbitrary ruler also acts as the chief judge, who usually imposes the death penalty on the gallows or under the ax on the delinquents, especially in the case of lese majesty . His pets are a dragon and a Saint Bernard named Bonapart .
Sir Rodney
The big-nosed knight armed with chain mail is the king's most important paladin . He is characterized by an enormous verbal self-confidence, but fails regularly when he has to prove his alleged bravery as a troop leader against the Huns . Even in duels for the favor of noble ladies, he always draws the short straw due to his cowardice - which does not prevent the noblewoman Gwen from languishing in adoration. He acts as a caddy in the royal game of golf and croquet .
Spooky
The creature, hairy all over its body like a rat, has been a long-term prisoner in the dungeon of the royal palace. His lethargic, frustrated attendant Turnkey supplies him with waste from the castle kitchen. Both like to philosophize about wisdom and current events or ponder their hopelessness, in which they are alike - especially since Spuk's attempts to escape regularly fail.
Exercise
The court jester is a chronic alcoholic who mostly hangs out in bars and wine cellars instead of doing his job. He wears a traditional jester costume with bells.
Blanche
The corpulent, unsightly matron is Magnus' wife and house kite. She annoys him incessantly, her cooking skills are miserable. Occasionally, however, she also develops romantic feelings, which Magnus is reluctant to return.
Larsen E. Pettifogger
The unscrupulous lawyer with the distinctive high top hat is not only characterized by a remarkable lack of success in defending his clients , but also rides them - first and foremost, eager for his own benefit - often with criminal energy into the misery.
Duke
The vain, obsequious nobleman with the dominant chin supports the king in government affairs. He is pompous and in love with himself and doesn't like to get his hands dirty. Like Rodney, he always tries to impress the king.
