Mahmut Hanefi Erdoğdu (born June 1, 1983 in Sakarya ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Erdoğdu came in 1999 from the youth team of Sakaryaspor in the first team, but he began his career with the fourth division Ayvalıkgücü . A season later, Sakaryaspor loaned him to Mudurnuspor . After his time at Mudurnuspor, Mahmut Hanfi was one of the regular players at Sakaryaspor.

Fenerbahçe Istanbul signed him in the 2003/04 season . There Erdoğdu became Turkish champion in the following two years. Despite his success, Mahmut Hanefi was not happy with his situation, he played 18 games in his entire time at Fenerbahçe. During the 2006/07 season he played on loan for Gaziantepspor . There was no return to Fenerbahçe Istanbul, he moved to Orduspor in the 2nd division .

At Orduspor he was able to build on his earlier achievements, which is why he moved back to the Turkcell Süper Lig to Sivasspor . The defender was injured during the preparation for the season and was not used in the 2007/08 season. After the season, his contract was dissolved and he moved to Diyarbakırspor on a free transfer .
