Mahndorf is a district of the village of Langenstein in the city of Halberstadt in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Geography and transport links

The place is west of the core area of ​​Halberstadt on the county road K 1324. The B 81 runs not far south and the B 79 to the east. The Holtemme flows through the village .

history

On September 30, 1928, the Mahndorf manor district was converted into a rural community of Mahndorf. On December 1, 1973, the Mahndorf community was incorporated into the Langenstein community. On January 1, 2010, the Mahndorf district became part of the newly established village of Langenstein and, at the same time, with the incorporation of Langenstein in Halberstadt as a district to the city of Halberstadt.
