The hamlet of Maihof-Drahtzug is a district of the local community Altleiningen in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Bad Dürkheim .
The historical and still active industrial branch is located on the Eckbach 2 km northeast of the village at an altitude of about 270 m. The current name is made up of the names of a restaurant and an ironworks .

The local company was for permission to wire drawing established that Napoleon had issued in the year 1811th The company, which has been trading as Dradura (formerly Drahtzug Stein GmbH & Co. KG or Drahtzug) since 2019, has developed into the largest employer in the district through changing legal forms . It belongs to the metal industry , the products manufactured are wire goods, welding consumables and modification wires.
From 1903 the Leininger Talbahn ran from Grünstadt to Altleiningen via Maihof wire train. Public transport took place on the route until 1969 , and the maintained section from Grünstadt to Drahtzug was used for the company's goods traffic until the end of 2005. The bus service travels to the Drahtzug stop on the Grünstadt – Altleiningen route .
