Maike Johanna Reuter

Maike Johanna Reuter (born July 4, 1989 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German theater and film actress .

Life

Maike Johanna Reuter received classes in classical ballet and modern dance from 1998 to 2009 and acting classes at the Comedia Theater from 2006 to 2008 . From 2012 to 2016 she studied acting at the Rostock University of Music and Theater .

Since completing her studies, Reuter has appeared in various theater and television productions. She gained greater fame in 2015 through her leading role as Lena Keller alongside Thomas Scharff and Cosma Shiva Hagen in the feature film The 8th Continent , which was nominated for Jupiter in 2016 in the “Best National Film” category. After some episode roles in TV series such as Rentnercops and Einstein received 2017, the main role of Pauline Reusch in RTL - soap opera All that counts . In 2017 she played the leading female role alongside Florian Bartholomäi and Bernhard Conrad in the movie Kahlschlag . The drama was awarded the New German Cinema Prize at the Hof International Film Festival in 2018 . Reuter can be seen in the theater play Frankenstein directed by Kieran Joel at the Theater im Bauturm in Cologne since 2019 .

Reuter lives in Cologne and speaks English, French and Norwegian.
