Mairav Shamir (born January 18, 1988 in Netanya ; Hebrew מירב שמיר) is an Israeli-American soccer player.
Life
Shamir was born in Netanya , the daughter of an Israeli and an American , before their family emigrated to the United States in 1990 . She visited in Natick in Massachusetts , the Natick High School before 2006-2009 at Boston College studied.
Football career
society
Shamir started her career at Natick SC when she was four. In May 2005, she joined the Longfellow Sports Club before joining the Boston College Eagles , the athletic team at Boston College , for her studies in August 2006 . During this time she ran in 2007 for the Bay State Select and for the Boston Aztec in the WPSL . Shamir played for the Eagles for three years and was part of the USA Maccabiah Olympic Team in the summer of 2009 . Shamir then returned to her homeland and signed with ASA Tel-Aviv FC . There she played in nine UEFA Women's Champions League games in three seasons before Shamir moved to SC Telstar after 38 games in the Nashim Rishona League in the Netherlands . Shamir played 32 games for SC Telstar in the BeNe League in the following two seasons , before signing with German second division club 1. FC Lübars on August 28, 2014 . The following summer she moved to MSV Duisburg within the 2nd Bundesliga . After Shamir appeared in four games in the 2015/16 season, she was passed in May 2016.
National team
Shamir took for Team USA in July 2009 at the Maccabiah Games in 2009 in part. In the same year Shamir became a national player for Israel and made her international debut on October 24, 2009 in Ness Ziona against the Kazakh women's national football team .
Volley and basketball career
In 2003 she was Varsity Age Volleyball Bay State Champion and was voted Most Improved Player during the season.
She was also active as a center forward for the Natick Redhawks, the athletic team at Natick High School.
