Makarios Tewfik
Makarios Tewfik (born May 19, 1945 in Kotna , Egypt ) is emeritus Coptic Catholic Bishop of Ismayliah .
Life
Makarios Tewfik received on 10 September 1972, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
June 23, 1994 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishops of Ismayliah . The Coptic-Catholic Patriarch of Alexandria , Stephanos II. Ghattas CM , donated him the episcopal ordination on July 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop Emeritus of Assiut , Youhanna Nueir OFM , the Bishop of Minya , Antonios Naguib , the Bishop of Assiut, Kyrillos Kamal William Samaan OFM and the Bishop of Luxor , Youhannes Ezzat Zakaria Badir as well as the auxiliary bishops in Alexandria , Youhanna Golta and Andraos Golta Salama .
With the confirmation of the election of his successor Daniel Lotfy Khella on June 29, 2019, he retired.
