Kyrillos Kamal William Samaan (born October 1, 1946 in Shanaynah , Egypt ) is the Coptic Catholic Bishop of Assiut .
Life
Kyrillos William Samaan received on 10 June 1974, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 16, 1990, the Synod of the Coptic Catholic Church elected him Bishop of the Assiut Eparchy . The Coptic Catholic Patriarch of Alexandria , Stephanos II. Ghattas CM , donated his episcopal ordination on June 3, 1990 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Minya , Antonios Naguib , the Bishop of Ismayliah , Athanasios Abadir , the Bishop of Sohag , Morkos Hakim OFM, the Bishop of Luxor , Aghnatios Elias Yaacoub SJ , and the Bishop Emeritus of Assiut, Youhanna Nueir OFM, as well as the Auxiliary Bishops in Alexandria , Youhanna Golta and Andraos Salama .
