Makhuduthamaga ( English Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the South African province of Limpopo . It belongs to the Sekhukhune district . The municipality's administrative headquarters are in Jane Furse . Mayoress is Minah Bahula.

The community is named after a Sepedi expression for an organization of anti- apartheid fighters from the 1950s. Literally it says: "those who opposed the rule of the whites". King Sekhukhune supported the organization, but it was banned in 1958. With a restructuring, it changed its name to Fetakgomo .

In 2011 the community had 274,358 inhabitants. 99.7% of them were black.

First language was 93.3% Sepedi , 1.5% Siswati , 1.4% isiZulu and 0.9% isiNdebele .
