Malcolm Denzil Marshall (born April 18, 1958 in Bridgetown , † November 4, 1999 there ) was a West Indian cricketer from Barbados and one of the best almost bowlers in the history of cricket.
Career
Malcolm Marshall played a total of 81 tests for the West Indies team during his career , scoring a total of 376 wickets. He made his test debut in December 1978 in Bangalore against India. Malcolm Marshall completed his last test in August 1991 against England in London. In One-Day International Matches (ODIs), Malcolm Marshall was used 136 times. Marshall made his ODI debut in May 1980 against England in Leeds. His last ODI was at the 1992 Cricket World Cup against New Zealand in Auckland. Malcolm Marshall took part in two Cricket World Cups for the West Indies team (1983 and 1992).

Malcolm Marshall coached the West Indies cricket team from 1996 to 1999. Malcolm Marshall died of colon cancer at the age of 41 .
