Malcolm Todd

Malcolm Todd (born November 27, 1939 - June 6, 2013 in Exeter ) was a British historian and classical archaeologist . His main area of ​​work was the relationship between the Roman Empire and Western Europe.

Career

Todd studied at the University of Wales and Brasenose College , Oxford. He lectured on archeology at Nottingham University and was a professor at the University of Exeter from 1979 to 1996 . Todd then moved to Durham University and became a Principal of Trevelyan College. He was a Senior Research Fellow at the British Academy and the Leverhulme Trust and a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute .

In 2000, Malcolm Todd retired.
