Malojanyssol ( Ukrainian Малоянисоль , Russian Малоянисоль Malojanissol ) is a village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Donetsk Oblast with about 2300 inhabitants (2004).
The village was founded in 1779 on the bank of the Kaltschyk ( Kalchik ), an 88 km long right tributary of the Kalmius , by Greeks who were resettled from the Crimean peninsula.
Malojanyssol is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the north of Nikolske Rajon with about 3000 inhabitants, to which the villages Sakharivka ( Катеринівка ⊙ ) with about 200 inhabitants and Truschenka ( Труженка ⊙ ) with about 470 inhabitants
The village is located on the territorial road Т – 05–18 24 km north of the Nikolske district center and 45 km north-west of the city of Mariupol .
