Malte Müller (born around 1975 in Lichtenfels - Roth ) is a German opera, concert and lied singer with a tenor voice .

Müller received his fundamental musical influence as a child and adolescent with the Regensburger Domspatzen , where he already appeared as a boy soloist. After successfully studying law, she studied singing at the Mannheim University of Music with Rudolf Piernay and Alejandro Ramírez . Malte Müller was significantly influenced by the Puerto Rican tenor Edgardo Zayas , who taught him as a teacher and mentor the technique of bel canto . Active participation in various master classes, among others with Gundula Janowitz , Christoph Prégardien and Hans-Peter Blochwitz , gave him further impulses.

Malte Müller has performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including the Zurich Symphony Orchestra, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, the Regensburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the L'arpa festante baroque orchestra, the La Banda original sound orchestra, the Palatinate Chamber Orchestra and the Ansbach Chamber Orchestra , the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, the Minsk Symphony Orchestra, the Schönbrunn Palace Ensemble Vienna or the Beethoven Academy Krakow. He sang and played Baron Kronthal ( Der Wildschütz by Albert Lortzing). He played all tenor roles in the world premiere of the opera Unreine Tragödien und Leper Dramatiker by Timo Jouko Herrmann at the Städtische Bühnen Heidelberg. In August 2016, Malte Müller made his Wagner debut at the International Kulturwald Festival with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra Krakow under the direction of Andreas Spering .

Müller gave recitals at the Walldorf Music Days, in the Wechterswinkel Monastery, in the Lichtenfels City Palace and in the Kaisersaal at Banz Monastery. His chamber music partners were the pianists Marcelo Amaral, Götz Payer, the Steinway artist Hans-Dieter Bauer and Anna Panagopoulos as well as the Morgenstern Trio. For the label Spektral his debut album was released in 2018, enveloped in a gentle dream - songs after Friedrich Rückert , which was produced together with the pianist Götz Payer in the Blaibach concert hall with the support of the Schweinfurt Rückert Society. On it there is “an interesting selection of partly known, partly less known or even unknown Rückert settings with different characters”. These include two compositions from the largely forgotten song cycle Liebesfrühling, Opus 46 by Wilhelm Kienzl . For the booklet text, the proven Rückert expert Rudolf Kreutner wrote the accompanying text using unpublished Rückert poems.
