Manfred Enderle (born August 5, 1947 in Unterfahlheim ) is a German amateur mycologist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Enderle ".

Life

As an autodidact , Enderle founded the Mycology Working Group in Ulm in 1976 . He published over 100 mycological papers in German and international journals and wrote one of the most comprehensive mycological volumes: Die Pilzflora des Ulmer Raum . Almost 2,800 species of mushrooms are described there. His special scientific achievements include the first descriptions of 26 new mushroom species.

Enderle lives in Riedheim . He is married and has two sons.
